Rasmus Hojlund etched his name into the Premier League history books when he opened the scoring inside 40 seconds, making him the youngest-ever player to find the back of the net in six consecutive matches (21 years and 14 days old).
He added to his tally just six minutes later before Carlton Morris was able to halve the deficit in the 14th minute, and it’s created a fiery, gritty contest for United on the road.
Aside from the pending result, one concern that’ll already be on Erik ten Hag and fans’ minds is that Luke Shaw was withdrawn again with an unspecified issue. Against Aston Villa he was taken on at half time, while today he was substituted for Victor Lindelof around the 44th-minute mark.
The Englishman was made to undergo a late fitness test after being deemed a doubt for the clash midweek, and it now looks as though he should’ve been left out of the matchday squad.
Ten Hag is yet to confirm what injury is bothering Shaw, who has already missed 13 league matches with numerous complaints.
