Hojlund returns: predicted Manchester United line-up vs Chelsea

Manchester United are looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League this week as they welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s men were in good form going into last weekend’s trip to Newcastle but the Magpies comfortably dealt with the Reds that day, with United slipping further behind in the race to finish in the top four.

United have the chance for immediate redemption this Wednesday, however, as another struggling side make the trip to Old Trafford.

Chelsea, who trail United five points, earned an unlikely victory against Brighton at the weekend, thwarting an hour-long onslaught after having Conor Gallagher sent off in the first half.

The England midfielder, who has started all 14 of Chelsea’s games so far this season, will miss the trip to Old Trafford as a result.

Ten Hag is almost certain to make several changes from the side that lost at Newcastle, with Rasmus Hojlund returning to the side in place of Anthony Martial.

Victor Lindelof is another player who could make a reappearance after Luke Shaw deputised at centre-back against Newcastle, with Diogo Dalot playing on the left.

Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1): Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Mainoo; Rashford, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund
