Fluminese star André has responded to recent links to Manchester United as well as shown his admiration for one of our players.
André, 22, has been subject of Manchester United interest following a report from Football Transfers reporter Jacque Talbot.
Talbot suggests United see the Fluminese midfielder as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who is not thinking about leaving Old Trafford in January despite reports of interest from the Saudi Pro League.

However, when asked about these reports linking him to United, André kept his cards close to his chest and said he’s focused on his objectives with Fluminese.
“I didn’t know about [United links],” André told ESPN. “And I also don’t think anything came of it.
“We’re in November, there’s a final stretch of the Brazilian Championship, there’s the World Cup, but I’m very happy.”
The 22-year-old has made 53 appearances for the Brazilian club over the last 10 months and helped them to a cup-double in his first season.
André went on to speak about United’s Brazilian midfielder and national team captain Casemiro, who is currently ruled out with injury, and stated that he’s happy to be attracting interest from clubs like ours.
“Casemiro is a guy who has had a huge career, I try to talk to him a lot when I’m with the national team,” he added. “He’s a person who gives a lot of advice, he’s a great leader and all I can do is continue playing well and I’m happy with all this interest and comments.”
The Copa Libertadores final would have attracted scouts from across the world and they would have got a close up view of André in the win over Argentine rivals Boca Juniors.
André could be available for a price between £26-35m and you just know already that will shoot up once he joins a European club. The question is whether that will be United or another Premier League club?
