Jadon Sancho axed from Manchester United WhatsApp group

First it was a matter of Jadon Sancho being banished from first-team activities. Now the winger has been axed from Manchester United’s WhatsApp group.

In a move that further exiles Sancho after his public spat with Erik ten Hag, The Sun claims the winger has been removed from the club’s WhatsApp group chat.

It is believed that manager Erik ten Hag and his staff use the platform to send key information to first-team players.

Sancho, 23, is not part of that group anymore and it would be silly to keep him in the group as we would be running the risk of more leaks from the dressing room.

The England international is already banned from training with the senior side or using any of their facilities at Carrington. Sancho is having to spend time in the academy section where he has trained alone since falling out with the manager.

When Ten Hag said Sancho’s training was not up to standard back in September, the winger took to social media (post has since been deleted) to write: “I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue, I conducted myself in training very well this week.”

It was believed that an apology would be accepted by Ten Hag, but Sancho never said sorry for his tantrum that questioned the manager.

Sancho only managed three Premier League appearances this season and I don’t think we’ll see him in a United shirt again. It will come as a disappointing end to his United future, but he never proved his worth at Old Trafford and only has himself to blame.

Where next for Jadon Sancho?

The gossip columns have mentioned three clubs that could make moves to sign Sancho on loan in January, but United will be trying to get him out of the club fully, with no chance of a return.

Those clubs include Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Juventus.

Stretty News understands Chelsea were in contact with Sancho’s entourage during the summer, although that doesn’t mean they will make a move for him midway through the season.

I reckon Mauricio Pochettino has enough problems on his plate at Stamford Bridge – but the Argentine is very much welcome to Sancho!

  1. Dale spreading misinformation about Sancho. It’s ok when he does it but not goldbridge.

What a hypocrite. You know nothing of who is leaking. Even if they are. Yet accuse sancho, a player you don’t like, of doing something nefarious. When you have no proof.

Unless you have evidence of sancho leaking? Which you haven’t shared?

Poor form and you should be called out on it.
