Manchester United are preparing for a huge game against Fulham this weekend as Erik ten Hag looks to get his side back on the winning track after two highly damaging defeats.
United were, unsurprisingly, comfortably turned over by cross-city rivals Manchester City last weekend as Pep Guardiola’s side strolled to a 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
Newcastle United, United’s opponents in the Carabao Cup earlier this week, also left the Theatre of Dreams with a win and by the same scoreline.
Ten Hag is under increasing pressure to turn things around at the club as United risk seeing the campaign spiral into nothing.
Make no mistake about it, there is a lot at stake at Craven Cottage this afternoon but Rio Ferdinand, the legendary United defender, has attempted to lift the mood in the capital as he provides his own rendition of Rick Astley’s classic Never Gonna Give You Up, as seen below.

The aim of the game was to replicate songs of famous supporters of each club and Astley, an avid United supporter, cannot be overlooked as this timeless 1980’s tune lives on.
Just moments from now, United will attempt to secure just their sixth victory from the opening 11 games in the Premier League but Fulham is not an easy test.
