Manchester United are back to winning ways in the Premier League after Bruno Fernandes’ late winning goal at Craven Cottage this afternoon, with the Portuguese midfielder’s strike breaking the deadlock after a dull affair in the capital.
United struggled to create clear-cut chances for most of the game but after a number of failed clearances from the home side in the 90th minute, Fernandes unleashed a golden strike.
The sequence that led to United’s winning goal, as seen below, was as scrappy as it gets but Ten Hag will not mind after another patchy performance.

United have now won six out of their opening 11 games in the league and the victory gives Ten Hag some breathing room after a highly turbulent week.
