Rasmus Hojlund has departed Manchester United for Denmark duty over the next week-and-a-half, along with fellow Red Christian Eriksen.
The 20-year-old got off the mark at club level with a Champions League goal against Bayern Munich last month, before following it up with a brace in the next group-stage game of the competition.
He is still seeking his maiden goal in the league, but fans are adamant it’ll come soon enough, as the young forward has looked sensational since settling into life at Old Trafford. Even amidst United’s poor form, Hojlund has been one silver lining.
Hojlund’s Euro contributions
As Denmark undergo their final preparations for their forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers, Hojlund will be keen on adding to his impressive tally at this stage of the tournament – he sits joint-second in the list of top goalscorers alongside Saturday’s match-winner Scott McTominay on six goals.
