Jadon Sancho has been banished from first-team duties at Manchester United, so it’s inevitable that there will be plenty of transfer speculation over the coming months.

According to The Sun, Juventus are keen to sign Sancho on loan in January, before potentially signing him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Juventus are hopeful that United will agree to pay half of Sancho’s wages if he leaves on loan, but it remains to be seen if any other clubs would be interested in taking the England international off our hands completely in January.

It’s clear that he is no longer part of Erik ten Hag’s plans after refusing to apologise to the manager.

Sancho has been frozen out of the squad since his public spat with Ten Hag, after being left out of the squad for the trip to Arsenal in September. The manager can give him a verbal slap on the wrist for not meeting the required standards in training – yet the player suggested that was a lie in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, which was since been deleted.

As a result, Sancho has been ordered to train away from the first team and it doesn’t look like he has a future at Old Trafford.

A return to Borussia Dortmund has also been tipped by the media, although The Sun believes Sancho is not keen on going back to his former club.

Like Juventus, I highly doubt Dortmund will make a permanent offer in January. They’ll probably present a loan offer and expect United to cover at least half of the Sacnho’s astronomical wages too.

United must prepare to take another financial hit.
