Mejbri to start: predicted Manchester United line-up vs Galatasaray

Manchester United are aiming to get back to winning ways when Galatasaray make the trip to Old Trafford on Tuesday, with Erik ten Hag’s men desperately searching for their next win after a disastrous start to the campaign.

United have lost four of their opening seven Premier League games this season – the first time the Reds have started that badly in the Premier League era.

To add to Ten Hag’s misery, United are also winless in the Champions League after the opening-day loss to Bayern Munich, leaving them with a must-win affair against the Turkish giants on Tuesday.

The 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace earlier this weekend left a damper on what could have been a good week for United but instead, the side is now heading into this game with increasing pressure to produce top performances.

Ten Hag may make a number of changes for this game but questions remain over some positions, with left-back expected to still be occupied by Sofyan Amrabat.

Lisandro Martinez is set for a long spell on the sidelines, meaning Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane are expected to lead the backline again.

Casemiro, United’s most potent goal threat this season, is likely to be partnered by Mason Mount as Hannibal Mejbri and Alejandro Garnacho are also shouts to make the team but it’s unlikely that both players will start.

Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1): Onana; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Amrabat; Casemiro, Eriksen; Fernandes, Mejbri, Rashford; Hojlund
