Jadon Sancho deactivates Instagram account as PFA offer to help sort drama

The PFA want to help Jadon Sancho, but the winger isn’t helping himself.

A report from The Times claims the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has offered to step in and find a resolution in the fallout between Sancho and Ten Hag.

As things stand, Sancho has been exiled from first team duties and facilities at Carrington.

The winger is refusing to apologise to the manager for an ill-advised social media post. With that hanging over his head, Sancho can only blame himself that there are no plans to bring him back into the squad.

Sancho claimed he was being made a ‘scapegoat’ in an online statement after being dropped from United’s match day squad in a 3-1 defeat against Arsenal at the beginning of September. He has been left out of the squad ever since.

The report claims the PFA has contacted Sancho and United but there has been no developments yet. This would suggest the writing is on the wall for the former Borussia Dortmund winger, who could find his career at a crossroads if he’s not lucky.

Meanwhile, Sancho has deactivated his personal Instagram account, presumably in a bid to block out all the negative attention he is attracting.

It’s a shame Sancho didn’t delete his social media before he thought it was a good idea to release *that* statement. Now, his United career is slipping down the gutter.

  1. His Utd career never got started. If you spend that kind of money on a player then play him or don’t buy him. Putting him in for 5 minutes a game isn’t helping the club or the player. Why do Utd keep doing this.
