Manchester United offered former Aston Villa winger as Sancho and Antony’s futures remain uncertain

Manchester United are reportedly mulling over a move for free agent Anwar El Ghazi amid their ongoing concerns on the right flank.

It comes after the club announced last week that Antony would be overseeing a period of absence as he faces allegations of abuse and assault, with reports being widely covered on social media in recent days.

As well as that, Jadon Sancho’s feud with Erik ten Hag has seemingly been left unresolved following their scheduled clear-the-air talks, as speculation suggests the Englishman could push for a January exit.

Should they continue to be omitted from the squad, the manager could either play the likes of Bruno Fernandes or Mason Mount out of their usual positions or put his faith into 21-year-old Facundo Pellistri to finally showcase his abilities in the first team.

United considering El Ghazi signing

United have until Wednesday to make a final decision on their El Ghazi pursuit and sign him by the 2pm deadline after The Telegraph confirmed that the player had been offered to the club.

The Dutch international has Premier League experience with Aston Villa and Everton, and has also played for Ajax, Lille and PSV.
