Manchester United are preparing for their final game before this month’s set of international fixtures, with a tough trip to the Emirates Stadium awaiting the Reds.
Ten Hag is without a number of his first-team regulars, with Raphael Varane and Mason Mount both sustaining injuries recently. The Dutchman has, however, been boosted by the arrival of some summer signings.
Sofyan Amrabat, the Morocco international, was one of four players to sign for the club on deadline day but the deal was not done in time for him to be registered for this weekend’s games.
Sergio Reguilon was, however, registered in time and he could make his United bow against Arsenal. The Tottenham loanee is one of five summer signings to be spotted in the travelling squad, as per The Mirror.
Andre Onana is joined by Altay Bayindir as United’s pair of goalkeepers, with youngster Radek Vitek also making the squad. Bayindir was another deadline-day arrival, joining the club from Fenerbahce on a permanent deal.
Jonny Evans could make his second debut for the club after being spotted with the rest of the squad, having re-signed on a season-long contract.
The most notable inclusion is Rasmus Hojlund’s presence, who has missed the first three games due to an injury sustained in pre-season with Atalanta.
As per the report, there are two significant absences, with Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho not named in the list of players to have made the trip.
Ten Hag could do without losing more players to injuries and considering his positive start to the season, Sancho will be disappointed to miss out.
