Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur in their first away fixture of the 2023/24 campaign tomorrow.
It’s a first meeting for Erik ten Hag and new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, so it certainly makes for a highly-anticipated clash between the two top-six sides.
The Reds have been in training this week ahead of the trip to North London but one key player is seemingly absent from the squad – Lisandro Martinez.
He was replaced at half-time in United’s season opener on Monday and Raphael Varane confirmed post-match that his Argentinian partner had sustained a small issue on his ankle tendon, hence the early substitution.
Whether or not Martinez will be fit to face the London outfit will likely be confirmed by Erik ten Hag in today’s press conference.
