(Photos) Bruno Fernandes among star-studded training group in Portugal ahead of United return

Bruno Fernandes is putting in the final touches before he regroups with Manchester United ready for the pre-season tour.

The midfielder took part on international duty last month, so is in the second batch of players that will return to club action after being granted a three-week break.

Fernandes played the most minutes of any outfield player across Europe last season with a whopping 5,897 minutes in all competitions. When including matches for his national team, it takes him over the 6,000 mark – absolutely remarkable availability.

What’s even more impressive is that despite the time he spends on the pitch, his form never falters. He is perhaps United and Portugal’s most reliable player.

Fernandes trains in Portugal

The 28-year-old got some well-deserved rest over the summer and is now already back on the grass in preparation for the season ahead – and he’s trained alongside some of Europe’s elite.

AndreSilvaPhotography has shared footage of Fernandes in his home country having a kickaround with Rafael Leao, Joao Cancelo and Arsenal-bound Declan Rice.
