Harry Maguire is putting in the work this summer ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign.
The defender’s whereabouts for next season are currently unknown, as Manchester United continue to mull over his future in M16.
He will be starting the pre-season tour with the club though, with the first fixture scheduled for this Wednesday, July 12 against Leeds United in Norway.
Recent reports have suggested that even if Maguire stays at Old Trafford in this transfer window, he will be stripped of the captaincy. This is likely due to the lack of game time he was granted last term and how this will remain the case after the summer break.
Nevertheless, the England international is doing all he can to ensure he’s in the best condition possible to fight for his place in the starting line-up.
Maguire’s rigorous training camp
He was pictured alongside Chelsea legend and three-time Premier League winner Ricardo Carvalho in Portugal recently, and Fabrizio Romano confirmed the pair had been working together one-on-one.
Maguire has reportedly been training three times a day for the past three weeks.
