Manchester United are making significant progress in talks with Inter Milan as they try to sign Andre Onana.

All signs suggest United are moving swiftly to clinch a deal for Andre Onana and there are promising signals point to Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund being next on the club’s radar.

United announced their first signing of the summer this week as Mason Mount arrived from Chelsea, where he spent 18-years coming through the ranks before winning the Champions League in 2019.

The England midfielder cost United £55m plus £5m in performance-related add-ons and they are set to continue their spending with Onana.

Striking a deal with Inter Milan doesn’t seem like a difficult task when you considering everything. They’ve got financial problems of their own and they signed Onana on a free last summer. That means a huge profit one way or other.

According to The Guardian, United have made significant progress during talks with Inter over the past two days.

The report also claims that United will look to bring in Hojlund as Ten Hag’s new striker.

Hojlund scored nine goals in 32 league games last season.
