The negotiations between Inter Milan and Manchester United appear to be running smoothly, although the clubs have yet to reach an agreement over Andre Onana’s valuation.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United have not yet managed to satisfy the Nerazzurri’s asking price. Furthermore it is understood that Inter are demanding €55 million plus performance-related add-ons.
United’s current offer is reportedly €50m but both parties are positive about the outcome.
Di Marzio interestingly adds Inter are moving forward for their replacement.
It may be only a matter of time before Onana is a Red.
There is a chance United could sign two keepers this summer, with Japan’s Zion Suzuki the latest target linked with a move to Old Trafford. The 20-year-old could break a record for J League transfers if he costs £5 million.
However, right now it’s hard not to get excited about the prospect of signing Onana.
More when we have it.
