Al-Nassr to compete with Manchester United over Andre Onana transfer

Manchester United are being heavily linked with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana after seeing David de Gea’s contract expire.

While De Gea’s future is still up the air, it looks like the writing is on the wall for the Spaniard after a 12-year stint at Old Trafford. Many questioned the goalkeeper’s suitability to Erik ten Hag’s side last season and reports believe the Dutchman wants to work with former Ajax shot-stopper Onana again.

United could face another headache with their hopes to sign Onana amid reported interest from Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

According to CBS Sports, the Saudi giants have made a lucrative offer to sign the Cameroon goalkeeper this summer.

With financial issues worsening under the Glazer family, who have yet to commit to selling the club, United would find it hard to rival any big money big at this stage of the summer.

Especially as we look set to struggle to sell any of the players we have listed in the market!

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail claim that while signing a striker remains the priority for Ten Hag, United won’t be able to commit a large fee to try and sign Onana.

The report suggests Justin Bijlow of Feyenoord and Kevin Trapp of Frankfurt are on the list of alternative options but talks have still to advance.
