Manchester United will reportedly table a players-plus-cash proposal for sought-after West Ham United talisman Declan Rice.
The Red Devils could join Arsenal and Manchester City in pursuit of the midfielder this summer as the Irons aim to receive over £100 million for their academy graduate.
According to the Daily Mail, United’s offer is set to include £40 million in cash plus Harry Maguire and Anthony Elanga making the switch to the London Stadium. The club are, however, viewed as outsiders in the race for Rice’s signature.
Arsenal have already seen two bids swiftly rejected by West Ham and now face competition from City, who beat them to the Premier League title in the closing stages of the season after a drawn-out battle for the top spot.
Rice prefers Arsenal move
It is believed that Rice’s preference is to join the Gunners and become a key member of the team’s leadership group, eventually progressing to club captain as he has done with the Hammers.
