(Video) Bruno Fernandes scores stunning brace for Portugal

Bruno Fernandes enjoyed a stunning season under Erik ten Hag and the midfielder was at his brilliant best again on Saturday evening as he helped Portugal to a win in their European Championship final.

Portugal extended their perfect qualifying record with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, with United’s number eight running the show.

Fernandes scored two goals for his nation and assisted the third, picking up the Man of the Match award in the process. The Old Trafford vice-skipper planted a bullet header before scoring a stunning half-volley minutes later, as seen below.

Portugal will now make the trip to Iceland as they eye a fourth win from as many games before the players go on vacation ahead of pre-season preparations.

Diogo Dalot, who was a regular for the senior side under former manager Fernando Santos, was an unused substitute against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
