Manchester United line-up vs Man City: Fred and Sancho start – FA Cup final

It’s the last game of the season for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag has a chance to win a cup double.

Manchester United take on Man City in the first ever all-Manchester FA Cup final.

Both teams have so much to play for as United look to stop Man City from doing the treble this season.

With Erik ten Hag’s side having reason to feel confident going into the game, it’s amazing how much we’ve been painted as underdogs before a ball is kicked.

Ten Hag will hope everyone he names in his starting line-up performs at their maximum ability.

Ahead of David de Gea in goal, Raphael Varane will lead from the back alongside Victor Lindelof. This allows Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw to occupy the full-back roles.

It looks like Ten Hag is packing the midfield with Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred and Bruno Fernandes.

That leaves us with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho in attack.

  1. United are underdogs for a very good reason. City are on fire and united have performed pretty poorly for a while now. I expect a bit of a thrashing today, 4 maybe 5 but let’s see what ETH has up his sleeve!

    Come on United!
