Anthony Martial has doubled Manchester United’s lead against Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman netted his sixth goal of the season with an unmissable tap-in from close range, assisted by Jadon Sancho.
Martial’s contribution came in the stoppage time of the first-half, giving the Reds a comfortable winning margin heading into the interval.
The opener was headed home by Casemiro to mark his second goal in two successive matches.
Given that United only need one point from their final fixtures to secure Champions League qualification, things are looking incredibly positive now and if they see out the win, it takes all the pressure off of their final match versus Fulham.
The only negative of the night so far is that Antony sustained a game-ending injury and looked inconsolable whilst being stretchered off and down the tunnel.
