Dean Henderson injury setback could impact Manchester United future

Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson faces an uncertain future.

Now, on top of that, the English goalkeeper could face an extra three months on the sidelines following a thigh injury he picked up in January.

Nottingham Forest decided to replace Henderson with another loan signing. Keylor Navas joined from Paris Saint-Germain on a six-month loan, but he hasn’t been able to save them from a relegation dogfight.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Henderson’s latest injury could have an impact on his future at United.

The latest setback means Henderson won’t be able to return until August.

Furthermore, Henderson requires an option to fully recover from the thigh tear he suffered at the beginning of the year, which means he will have little time to find a new club before the start of next season.

It remains to be seen if many clubs will want to take a chance on him when he’s not been able to stay fit this season.

A move to Tottenham Hotspur has been mooted by sections of the media.
