Three Serie A clubs consider Harry Maguire move

It is going to be a busy summer for Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag will want to improve the squad again this year with additions in the transfer window, but multiple outgoings are expected to ensure the manager has the funds he needs to buy the best players.

The Guardian claims that as many as 15 players are believed to be facing the chop this summer. It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that Harry Maguire has been included on the list.

Maguire, 30, has endured an up and down spell at Old Trafford since joining from Leicester City in 2019. He has been unable to convince Ten Hag that he deserves a place in the starting line-up this season and is deemed surplus to requirements by many fans and pundits alike.

A fresh report from 90min claims Maguire is attracting interest from Serie A trio AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus.

The outlet adds that all three Italian sides are keen to bring United’s captain in on a loan deal that includes an option to buy.

United would obviously prefer to sell the player outright but that will depend on the offers they recieve at the end of the season.

I think, for all parties involved, a permanent transfer would be the best solution.
