Manchester United are set to take on Sevilla in Thursday night’s Europa League quarter-final first leg.
The Red Devils will welcome their Spanish rivals to Old Trafford for tonight’s blockbuster European clash.
Looking to book their place in another final following their Carabao Cup win earlier in the year, United will know that they’ll need to be at their very best if they’re to take a first-leg advantage over Sevilla, who have won the Europa League six times in the past.
Marcus Rashford will not feature tonight though. The Englishman is sidelined after he picked up a groin injury against Everton last time out.
Coming in for the prolific number 10 will be Anthony Martial, who is making his first start since 14 January, and speaking to BT Sport ahead of kick-off, manager Erik Ten Hag explained his decision to start the Frenchman ahead of on-loan forward Wout Weghorst.
“I think he’s ready… Ready to play – he had three games to come in,” the Dutchman said.
“We planned it [really carefully], I think he could have started against Everton, so now Rashford is injured, I think it is logical to play Anthony [Martial].”
