Erik ten Hag could transfer list seven players this summer

Erik ten Hag is willing to sell seven Manchester United players this summer.

The Reds spent £220m last summer, which was nearly £100m more than the club had budgeted for, as Erik ten Hag starting the team building process.

United’s aim was to finish in the top four and win a trophy. We’ve already got the Carabao Cup to our name and a spot in the Champions League places looks more than achievable.

However, finances are tight and the club are wary of complying with Financial Fair Play rules, unlike Man City.

This means that under current ownership United will need to sell a number of players to sign a new centre-forward and midfielder.

According to The Mirror, Ten Hag will sell up to seven players to make room for new recruits in the summer.

They could include Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams. Another name mentioned is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is having a pretty good second half to the season.

  1. No real lose if Maguire, Telles, Bailey, Williams, VDB & Martial leave, I don’t see the immediate need to replace AWB.
But what’s the point of Pellestri, Tuanzebe, Jones, Laird ?
Why not try to recruit Skriniar, Tielmans & Thuram on free transfers ?
Add Gaviodal, Bellingham & Osimhen for £250-£300m and what a great squad
