The current group of Manchester United players are pulling on the heartstrings of the Old Trafford faithful worldwide after they ended the six-year wait for a trophy by beating Newcastle United at Wembley.
Erik ten Hag has been crowned Carabao Cup champion in his first season in charge of the club, becoming the first manager to lift silverware since Jose Mourinho in 2017.
The Dutchman is, arguably, the best thing to happen to the club since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013 and now, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Bruno Fernandes captained his side in the final but after the game, when the trophy was being delivered and ready to be lifted, captain Harry Maguire joined the Portuguese maestro, as seen above.
Fans are now hopeful that this triumph is the first of many and perhaps even not the last this season, with United still competing on three fronts after going all the way in the Carabao Cup.
