(Video) Roy Keane asks Erik ten Hag for Wembley tickets after Man United reach Carabao Cup final

Manchester United are through to a final at Wembley for the first time since 2018 and it’s one of many reasons to be excited as a Red at the moment.

Erik ten Hag’s reign at the club is going swimmingly and not many would have predicted the turnaround he would be overseeing after the first two games of the season.

United did not look prepared for this long season but their fortunes have completely been turned and now, they will face Newcastle United at Wembley in the final of the Carabao Cup later this month.

After the game, a hilarious exchange between Erik ten Hag and Roy Keane was broadcasted as the former United skipper cheekily asked the Old Trafford boss for tickets to the final, as seen below.

“If you have any spare tickets, two complimentary I hope, yes?” Keane said as Ten Hag was quick to oblige. “I think so, Roy, no problem,” the Dutchman responded.

In truth, Keane will not stumble across any difficulties when he’s arranging his plans for February 26 but he may want to watch that game as a supporter rather than a pundit.

Victory over Newcastle in the final would end United’s six-year wait for silverware, with the last trophy coming by way of the Europa League in 2017.
