Marcus Rashford breaks silence on impressive Man United form

Man United have beaten Everton to reach the FA Cup fourth round.

The Red Devils beat Frank Lampard’s Toffees 3-1 during Friday night’s cup clash at Old Trafford.

The result, which was deserved in the end, saw Marcus Rashford shine once again. The Englishman raced to set teammate Antony up after just four minutes.

And although the Merseyside club did pull one back through Conor Coady after goalkeeper David De Gea made an awful error, United managed to recompose themselves and go on to score two second-half goals.

Coady found himself on the scoresheet again after he put the ball into his own net before Rashford beat Jordan Pickford from the spot with just minutes left to play.

Following what was another commendable performance from United’s number 10, fans will hope the 25-year-old can keep it up, especially considering a Premier League tie against rivals Manchester City is on the horizon.

Speaking to ITV after tonight’s FA Cup clash about his great form, Rashford said: “In terms of performances, it’s probably the best that I’ve been so I feel good on the pitch, I’m getting into positions and areas to score goals. If I keep creating chances, I feel like I’ll keep scoring.”
