Jude Bellingham has put England 1-0 ahead against Iran at the Khalifa International Stadium with Manchester United’s Luke Shaw assisting the goal.
The Three Lions lead before half-time in Qatar with Shaw doing what he does best; an inch-perfect cross was met by United target Bellingham (via The Athletic) to open the scoring.
It also marked the 19-year-old’s first international goal for England – and what a time to do it.
It was previously reported the midfielder would cost around £131.5 million but a successful tournament at the World Cup may increase Borussia Dortmund’s asking price. Several top clubs across Europe are in the race for the teenager’s signature. Watch the goal below:
