Manchester United will not stand in Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s way of re-joining Crystal Palace in January.

That’s according to a recent report from The Sun, who claims the right-back, who has massively fallen out of favour with Erik Ten Hag, is a candidate to return to Selhurst Park, despite leaving just three years ago.

Although when he first joined, Wan-Bissaka was a nailed-on starter with former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer clearly preferring him over Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot, the opposite has occurred under Ten Hag, and consequently, Wan-Bissaka has played just four minutes since the Dutchman’s arrival.

Understandably keen to have his long-term future resolved, the 24-year-old would probably jump at the chance to move on, but because of how difficult a permanent deal would be to conclude, a mid-season loan appears the likeliest outcome.

Rumoured to earn around £80,000-per week, Palace, even if they could reach a loan agreement, would need significant investment to bring the defensively-minded 24-year-old back to London.

However, should a suitable proposal come to the table, United are set to grant Wan-Bissaka his wish and sanction a loan move that would undoubtedly see him given a first-team lifeline.
