(Video) Alternative angle of Casemiro’s late equaliser at Stamford Bridge

Saturday’s game looked set to be the latest triumph for Graham Potter and perhaps the most significant of his eight-game Chelsea tenure, but Manchester United new signing Casemiro had something to say about that.

It was another fine display from Casemiro in midfield.

The former Real Madrid star is finally owning his place in the team and his late header was well deserved after a string of strong performances in a United shirt.

United had two crosses cleared by Chelsea at the very end, before the ball was recycled down the left flank again. Luke Shaw chipped the ball towards the far post as Casemiro jumped in front of teammate Scott McTominay to send the ball past the Chelsea keeper.

Kepa did his best between the sticks but he couldn’t stop the ball from crossing the line.

The official Manchester United Twitter account has shared a video of the goal from an alternative angle.

  1. Same as usual drop points in final minutes again. Said all along 3 at the back. This bloke is as bad as the last one. One up six minutes to go, C-Half on the bench, —bring him on, take off striker, flood the box and would no doubt do better with the cross than Chilly—– bloody obvious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wrong line-up to start Cucurella bloody useless. Azpi at back Rubens left back, Kose in mid field, again obvious.
