Manchester United’s away support was at its brilliant best on Sunday evening as the fans spurred their team on to earn a vital three points at Goodison Park.

The supporters in attendance endured a nervy end to the game, however, with Everton desperate to equalise just minutes after United had a goal harshly disallowed for handball.

In a nice touch, former United midfielder and coach Michael Carrick was among the fans to have made the trip to Merseyside, as pictured below by United supporter Benjamin Brazil.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Championship strugglers Middlesbrough were interested in Michael Carrick for their vacant managerial role. Carrick took a break from football after resigning from his position at Old Trafford last year.

Interestingly, United’s 2-1 win at Goodison Park was the first time they have won after going behind since Carrick guided the Reds to a win against Arsenal in 2021.
