New footage shows Gabriel Jesus kicking out at Lisandro Martinez

A number of incidents during Manchester United’s comprehensive 3-1 win over Arsenal have sparked debates on social media, with the decision to rule out Gabriel Martinelli’s goal being the main talking point.

Martinelli’s goal was correctly ruled out by the referee after Martin Odegaard pushed and tripped Christian Eriksen off the ball but Arsenal supporters were enraged by the decision after the game.

Another incident where Arsenal midfielder Sambi Lokonga went completely unpunished has escaped public scrutiny despite the Belgian midfielder leaving Bruno Fernandes in agony following a dangerous tackle.

Now, new footage has emerged and appears that Gabriel Jesus, the Arsenal striker who was comfortably handled by Lisandro Martinez, took his frustrations out on the United defender.

Jesus appears to, for no reason, kick out at Martinez as he is repositioning himself to defend a throw-in. The incident was not shown on broadcast and has not been discussed by pundits after the game.

The decisions from the game have been widely analysed but perhaps more attention should have been given to this one in particular.
