Manchester United have unveiled their latest signing in front of the supporters at Old Trafford in a Raphael Varane-esque parade, with fans welcoming Casemiro to the club following his move from Real Madrid.
Casemiro’s arrival may have been the big talking point on any other day but ahead of the game, the focus was strictly on planned protests against the club’s owners.
As opposed to the last time fans protested before this fixture, strictly authorised personnel made it onto the pitch before kick-off and that includes United’s latest big-money signing.

Just as Casemiro walked onto the hallowed turf, as seen above, Manchester United confirmed that a deal to sign him had been completed.
The supporters were, however, relentless in their cries as they continued to protest against the Glazer family whilst Casemiro was greeting his new home support, as seen above. Chants of ‘we want Glazers out’ rung around Old Trafford during Casemiro’s golden strut.
