Martinez is a hugely versatile defensive addition with his usual positions including playing at centre-back, as well as a defensive midfielder, and although now set for a dream move to the Premier League, the 24-year-old has been a big success in Holland’s top flight.
Since joining Ajax back in 2019, the defender has gone on to feature in 118 matches, in all competitions, directly contributing to 12 goals along the way.
United fans will be looking forward to seeing the Argentina international in action at Old Trafford next season.
Welcome, Lisandro.
