Manchester United are getting down to the nitty-gritty of this summer’s transfer window, with incomings finally expected after a slow start to the window.

Erik ten Hag will oversee wholesale changes at the club, with a full makeover expected over the next couple of weeks. For starters, he has already sealed his first arrival.

Tyrell Malacia, the Feyenoord left-back, underwent a medical on Sunday and is expected to be announced as the first signing of the summer on Monday.

Now, the 22-year-old’s agent, Ali Dursun, has been spotted at Carrington as rumours of an imminent move for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong ramp up.

Interestingly, Dursun also represents De Jong, whom United are in advanced talks with Barcelona for. The 25-year-old is due back at Barcelona tomorrow for pre-season but his agent’s presence at Carrington has led fans to wonder if it’s more likely that he will report into Carrington.

In the most recent update on the situation, it was claimed that Barcelona are already counting on De Jong to join United, with the Catalan club telling their summer targets that they will reinvest the cash.
