Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan shares an update on the latest surrounding Manchester United targets Lisandro Martinez and Antony.
Arsenal and Manchester United appear to be in the hunt for Lisandro Martinez, with Erik ten Hag identifying the Argentine as a player he would like to bring with him to Old Trafford this summer.
Van der Kraan has some bad news for Arsenal and United because Ajax are apparently holding out for £45m to sell Martinez.
On top of that, in other United news, Ajax want a lot of money for Antony.
“It’s a very awkward position United are in at this moment,” the reporter explained on Sky Sports News.
He also said there has been nothing concrete offered for Martinez.
🗣 "Ajax are demanding £45M, Ajax have no reason to sell anymore players."

SN’s verdict
It was obvious that Ajax would start demanding premium prices for their players after selling Sebastian Haller to Borussia Dortmund for a reasonable fee. This only further explains why fans are frustrated by how slow United are negotiating in the transfer market.
I would like to see us sign a player or two from Ajax – to help Ten Hag introduce his style of football – but they must be the right fit and come at the right price.
Especially when it looks like United are already trying to cut corners.
