Fabrizio Romano confirms Paul Pogba to Juventus transfer

Paul Pogba has returned to Juventus.

It was one of the worst kept secrets in football in recent weeks. Several media outlets had it on record that the French midfielder would return to Turin, so it was only a matter of when after the release of his documentary.

Pogba’s contract at Manchester United expired this summer and after failing to agree new terms with the Red Devils, he has decided to return to Juventus with the club preparing its announcement.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano says Pogba to Juventus has been confirmed following a full agreement between both parties, with the deal to be signed at the beginning of July.

He may have won everything in Italy during his last spell at Juventus, but Pogba still has a lot to prove because he flopped over the past six years at United. The Italians will believe he can get back to his previous heights, but they are not the side they were back then.

Pogba leaves United are making 157 Premier League appearances for the club. He scored 29 goals and registered a further 38 assists.

Stats aside, United fans won’t reflect fondly on Pogba’s time at the club. From his inconsistent displays to media outbursts whilst on international duty, he became a pain in the near end.
