Wolves fans went viral this Sunday evening after taunting Liverpool with a funny chant during the game as Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions.
As much as I hate City, it’s better to see them lift the league title than Liverpool, and that has never been up for debate as far as I am concerned.
I laughed when I heard Wolves fans singing “You nearly won the league, you nearly won the league” as the game approached the full-time whistle. This was after Pep Guardiola’s side came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Aston Villa.

Liverpool’s quadruple dreams quickly became a nightmare.
Thankfully, all that nonsense about this Liverpool side topping what United achieved in 1999 can stop, and we can get back to fixing some problems at Old Trafford this summer.
Just like that, talk of quadruples washed away. 🌊 pic.twitter.com/YtMymDZVM7

City’s three goals in five minutes to beat a Steven Gerrard inspired Villa side saw Klopp come up short in the title race.
Hopefully Real Madrid can save football in the Champions League football.
