Paul Pogba snubs Manchester City over scapegoat fears

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly leaning towards a move abroad this summer due to feeling like he has been made a scapegoat in the English media.

The Frenchman has not taken any responsibility for his shortcomings since returning to United from Juventus, and we don’t expect him to start before leaving the club on a free transfer for a second time.

Pogba has had an inconsistent six years at Old Trafford but had been linked with a surprise switch to Manchester City over the weekend.

Reacting to the news, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher stressed that Pogba does not work hard enough to be a success in Pep Guardiola’s side, which sparked a debate in the studio with Micah Richards and Jamie Redknapp.

However, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth in the tweet below, Pogba has become frustrated with the way he’s been treated by the media in England. This makes it “increasingly likely” that he will move abroad when his current deal expires in the summer.

The Athletic claim Pogba is not prepared to swap United for City because there is an offer on the ta le from a different club which he prefers.

The World Cup winner also believes he has become the scapegoat for United’s issues.

Pogba was once labeled a ‘poison’ after falling out with a former United manager, so I don’t know why Pogba feels the media is responsible for his reputation as a professional footballer?

It works both ways and Pogba has used the media to drop hints about his future for years!
