I spoke to Sky Sports News this morning about Manchester United’s Champions League exit, the search for a new manager, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future and the damage caused by the Glazer family.
Atletico Madrid won 1-0 at Old Trafford on Tuesday night to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
It spells the end of United’s run in Europe this season before it even got going, so plans need to be in place to appoint the next manager. Ralf Rangnick will hope to guide the team to a top four finish but we now find ourselves needing results elsewhere.
On top of that, United can’t seem to find any consistency this season. It has been one step forwards and two steps back since the campaign got under way in August.
I argue that things will get worse before they get better while the Glazers are in charge.
“Manchester United need new owners.”
