(Video) Jim Beglin refers to Man City’s Etihad as “Emptyhad” on air

Jim Beglin felt the need to correct himself after referring to the Etihad as the “Emptyhad” on air, while commentating on Man City vs Chelsea.

It’s still goalless in the top of the table clash, with anything less than a win for Chelsea surely enough to remove them from a potential Premier League title race this season.

But United fans will enjoy Beglin’s slip of the tongue, although it would’ve been funnier had he not corrected himself.

“You can hear the annoyance around the Emptyhad,” Beglin said, before correcting his little blunder.

The former footballer turned commentator couldn’t help but show his bias.

The term ‘Emptyhad’ became a popular jibe against City which stems from the fact they have consistently low attendances.

It shows up their ‘support’ so it’s only normal for United fans to make jokes about it.
