Van de Beek prepared to leave Manchester United in January

Donny van de Beek is reportedly ready to make a move to leave Manchester United in January after the midfielder was snubbed again on the bench in the Champions League win over Villarreal.

That is according to the Daily Mail, along with claims Van de Beek will renew efforts to find another club in the January transfer window after seeing no improvement in his situation.

The Netherlands international had to be consoled by other players, who were also sat on the bench, when manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to bring on other players to influence the game, which he succeeded in doing as United beat Villarreal 2-1 on the night.

Van de Beek was visibly fuming and was seen thrown his bib on the floor in the technical area.

Fred and Jesse Lingard came on instead and both played a role in the winning goal – from the Brazilian’s cross to Jlingz setting up Cristiano Ronaldo — so the manager deserves enormous credit.

The 24-year-old was reportedly keen on a loan move to Everton in the summer but that fell through because United were not interested in doing a well. However, offer something close to £40m and I think the club would use that money to sign a midfielder Solskjaer wants in his team.
