After racking up seven assists in his first four Premier League matches of the season, it is safe to say that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is on fire. However, after being quizzed on his red hot form, the French playmaker has remained unfazed by his personal numbers and has insisted only the team’s results matter.
Speaking ahead of the Red Devils’ important domestic match against West Ham United, which is scheduled to kick off at 2pm (UK time), Pogba, who is set to start on the left flank, has reminded the media that although he is playing well, the most important thing is that the team, as a collective, keep on winning.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named Pogba in a midfield five alongside Fred, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood and you can hear what he had to say pre-match below.
🗣 “We want to bounce back, the time is today.”
