Amad likely to leave Manchester United on loan before transfer deadline day

Manchester United are prepared to sanction two more loan departures this summer, with Sheffield United working hard to sign Amad.

That is according to the Manchester Evening News, who believe the club is acting cautiously over a possible move to the Championship club as they want guarantees he will get regular playing time for the 19-year-old.

Ultimately it will come down to player. If Amad arrives at Sheffield United before the deadline, he will have to work hard to warrant a place in the team because nobody can question his ability.

The Championship is a competitive league and Sheffield United have had a slow start.

The Blades have only managed one point from their first four matches of the season and are second from bottom under newly appointed Slavisa Jokanovic.

Amad joined United in January after a deal was agreed with Atalanta last summer.

And he didn’t get to spend much time with United this summer due to representing the Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics.
