Manchester United duo Eric Bailly and Amad have returned to full training at the club following their involvement in this summer’s Olympics in Tokyo.
The pair were selected in Ivory Coast’s U23 squad, with Bailly being one of three eligible overaged players.
Their involvement in the tournament meant that neither player was involved in this summer’s pre-season preparations, which will hamper their ability to properly challenge the already settled first-team regulars.

Bailly signed a new long-term contract at the club earlier this year but will have seen his chances to feature regularly grow ever smaller after the arrival of Raphael Varane.
Amad, who joined the club in January this year, could go out on a season-long loan as he continues his development.
