AC Milan preparing new offer to sign Man Utd defender

AC Milan are preparing a new offer to sign Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, according to reports. The Portuguese full-back spent last season on loan with the Rossoneri and his impressive performance shave prompted the Italian club into making another move.

After his season-long stay at Milan, which included two appearances against Manchester United in the Europa League, Dalot was also called up to Portugal’s Euro 2020 squad.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are now preparing to make an improved offer for Dalot.

Manchester United are in a strong position to keep Dalot but could let the former Porto man leave if the right offer comes in. According to Romano, the club is looking for a €4-5m loan fee with an option to buy permanently also included.

Dalot has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid but interest from the Spanish club has been played down, despite Carlo Ancelotti’s attempt to sign him for Everton last year.
