“It’s going to be fun” – Jadon Sancho comments on Man Utd teammates ahead of move

Jadon Sancho is set to complete a transfer to Manchester United after completing a medical and agreeing on personal terms, as per ManUtd.com. The winger was the subject of a long transfer saga but is finally set to put an end to speculation over his future.

The news was confirmed by Manchester United earlier this week and the 21-year-old was handed his first start at this summer’s European Championships just three days later, starring in England’s 4-0 win over Ukraine.

Sancho impressed in the encounter, featuring on the right-hand side, which is also expected to be his main position under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Sancho’s praises were sung by Luke Shaw after the game and the former Manchester City player has now commented on his impending transfer, insisting that he already knows some of his new teammates and that ‘it’s going to be fun’.

“Yeah, Luke is a great lad. I always have a good relationship with him, Marcus [Rashford] and Harry [Maguire] so it’s going to be fun,” Sancho told talkSPORT when pressed on his imminent move to Old Trafford.

Sancho’s impressive performance in Ukraine will have put him with a good chance of featuring in the semi-final, where England will take on Denmark at Wembley.
