Mason Greenwood position change touted ahead of likely Jadon Sancho transfer.
It’s good to see reports hint that Manchester United are already planning for life with Jadon Sancho in their side, ahead of a likely switch from Borussia Dortmund this summer, which has been speculated by various publications including Goal.
The England international is currently away at Euro 2020 but there shouldn’t be any problems as far as personal terms are concerned. Sancho wanting to join Manchester United is not news.
The Evening Standard comment on Sancho’s planned move to Old Trafford and reckon it could result in a possible change of position for Mason Greenwood.
Again, this wouldn’t come as a big surprise because I have always seen Greenwood as a centre-forward, who had to show his worth in the first-team playing on the flank. Something he was very good at.
They say Sancho’s arrival will give manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a chance to play Greenwood as an orthodox centre-forward. It will also give the boss a chance to rest Edinson Cavani in certain games as I’m sure he will be keen to see the youngster continue developing under his guidance.
